MyOTAS are proud to have worked with SEND the Right Message (Southend) and Essex Family Forum to produce a pack of useful information for families with a neurodiverse child i.e. autistic, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, OCD, Tourette’s.
Our families told us they are desperate for guidance and often don’t know where to start to find the information they need. We presented this feedback to the Joint Commissioning Board who commission services across Education, Health and Social Care and they were fully supportive of the project, recognising how useful this information would be.

This pack includes information about the diagnosis process, how to get support for your child at school, health and wellbeing and much more. The team have shared their own experiences and hints and tips as well as those of parents, carers and young people from across Essex, Southend and Thurrock. There are also signposts to useful books, blogs and online resources which are all tried and tested resources that the team have used and found helpful.
Supporting Your Neurodiverse Child – Information Pack
We would love to hear your feedback on the information contained within the pack, and also if there are other topics you would like to know about.
A limited number of printed copies will be available shortly. You will be able to request a hard copy via email, or pick one up at one of our parent support groups.
