How We Can Support You
Are you worried about your child’s mental health, distressed, or challenging behaviours? Do you feel that your child is shying away from others and is somehow different from their peers? Has your child recently received an autism/adhd diagnosis and you would like to know more? Do you have concerns about your child’s future education and don’t know who to approach to address these issues? Do you feel overwhelmed by talk of One Plans, EHCPs, Annual Reviews and lengthy waits for diagnosis and mental health support? We may not have all the answers, but we will try out best to help, or signpost you to someone that can.
There are a variety of ways that we can provide help and they are all FREE.
- Request more detailed support from us by completing this form. We can email or call you back (whichever you prefer).

All of our volunteers are parents of neurodiverse children (autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, anxiety, OCD, PDA, etc.) and have been through a variety of challenges. They are all able to lend a sympathetic and non-judgemental ear and share some valuable information and experience. We will try to work out our problems together, you are not alone.
Please note that none of our volunteers are trained counsellors, but they are there to listen and will try their best to help you. All conversations will remain confidential and no personal information will be passed on to anyone outside of the MyOTAS circle.
